On the weekend of the June 1st- 2nd, Netzer madrichim and chanichim of Temple Emanuel and Bet David, both in Johannesburg, gathered together for a wonderful weekend of fun and Judaism!

The kids enjoyed activities based on informal education, while having lots of fun! The activities were run by the Netzer madrichim who recently completed a leadership seminar and are very involved with the youth at the shuls.

On the Friday night, the Netzer youth, lead by the madrichim, provided a wonderful and spiritual service for the entire congregation.

This was followed by a delicious shabbat dinner provided by Cynthia Duchin, for the Netzerniks, religion school pupils and families.

. On Saturday morning, the Netzer madrichim ran a Shabbat service for all the religion school kids, with the great vibe which is unique to Netzer.

The rest of the weekend was full of fun, games and more surprises for the kids, with a Shabbat service, Seuda Shlishit, benching after meals, and the famous Netzer ball game Machanaim, to name a few.

Netzer would like to thank all the people who assisted and made this weekend happen, helping with the Shabbat dinner and all the other logistics.
