Kids and their families
from Bet-Menorah
have Sunday fun
alongside the elephants
A lovely Sunday was spent at Pretoria Zoo by some Netzerniks and their families of Bet-Menorah.
The Netzer madrichot started off with some fun games in the grassy picnic area in the zoo, where we were the new neighbors of the elephants. The programme carried on with a fun educational and environmental Peulah (activity) for the kids.
The kids had a great chance to run around the zoo and enjoy the different animals. After a tiring tour around the zoo, we all set down for a family picnic, and the kids made some Israeli food: pita-bread and delicious humus.
The lovely day wouldn't get to its successful ending without Netzer's favourite ball game, Machanaim. We played a few rounds, until we were all tired and it was time to go home for a rest.
It was lovely to be Beyachad (together) on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, enjoying the togetherness of members of Bet- Menorah congregation, and we hope to have a lot more fun and social events such as this one in the future!
